MAIN ENTRANCE
From the gravel driveway, there is a concrete pathway to the property. There is one entrance to Cherry Cottage up a step and through the door. This brings you directly into the open plan lounge and kitchen. Opposite the entrance is the staircase up to the first floor.
LOUNGE
The lounge contains a 7 seat leather corner sofa, occasional tables and colour TV. The flooring is short-pile carpet.
KITCHEN
The kitchen and dining area has cushion-floor covering. The kitchen has all the facilities one would expect – cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and toaster. The sink has twist turn taps.
DINING AREA
The dining area is off the kitchen through an opening. There is a table with seating for 6 persons. From the dining area there is another door to the exterior of the cottage.
UPSTAIRS
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor which is accessed up a staircase with 14 steps. At the top of the stairs there is a landing off which are the bedrooms and bathroom. The stairs, landing and bedrooms all have short-pile carpet floor covering.
BEDROOM 1
This is a double room with a bed, built in wardrobe, bedside unit and reading lights above the bed with pull-cord action. There is also a refreshment tray, dressing table and chair. From the bedroom, there is a doorway onto a balcony overlooking the garden and lake.
BEDROOM 2
This is a twin room with built in wardrobe, drawer unit, chair and dressing table with a mirror and light.
BEDROOM 3
This is a triple room with built in wardrobe, drawer units, chair and dressing table with a mirror and light.
BATHROOM
The bathroom has a non-slip floor covering and comprises of a bath with bath/shower mixer and grab rail. There is a basin and WC. Over the basin there is a vanity unit with mirror and light.
GROUNDS AND GARDEN
The cottage has a lawned garden to the front with table and chairs. From the garden you can walk across the gravel driveway to the lake. There is a walk right around the lake which is made up of gravel, grassed areas and compacted soil. There are also fishing opportunities and we have fishing points that are accessible for wheelchairs.
